India v West Indies, 3rd T20I: Series Level at 1-1 as the Teams Move to Indore

India and West Indies are level at 1-1 in the five-match T20I series ahead of the third match at the Holkar Stadium in Indore on Sunday 11 October. The first ball is at 7:00 PM IST, and in India the match is shown on the Star Sports Network and streamed on JioHotstar.

India won the opener in Lucknow by eight wickets, with Shreyas Iyer scoring an unbeaten 102 off 43 balls. West Indies hit back in Ranchi on Friday, chasing 250 for a six-wicket win. Shai Hope, the West Indies captain, finished on a hundred and was named player of the match, after India had made 249/5 on Sanju Samson's 82 off 41 balls.

The Ranchi result puts India's bowling under the most scrutiny. West Indies reached 252 in 18.3 overs, scoring at roughly 12 an over for most of the chase, and the team that bowls first will want a better answer on a pitch that has so far rewarded batting.

India chased 172 comfortably in the first match and made 249 in the second. West Indies have now shown their batting can chase a very large total, with Hope and Sherfane Rutherford both scoring quickly, Rutherford making 56 off 34 balls in Lucknow.

The fourth T20I is in Hyderabad on Wednesday 14 October and the series ends in Bengaluru on Saturday 17 October, with both matches starting at 7:00 PM IST. Whoever wins in Indore will need one more win from the last two matches to take the series.
