Mikel Arteta has signed a new contract that keeps him at Arsenal until 2030, The Hindu reported, after leading the club to the Premier League title.
The 44-year-old Spaniard took charge in December 2019 and is now comfortably the longest-serving manager in the Premier League.
The Daily Mail reported, in Sky Sports' newspaper roundup, that the new deal makes him the league's highest-paid manager, at £20 million a year. That figure comes from the newspaper and has not been confirmed by the club.
Separately, BBC Sport reported that midfielder Declan Rice is close to agreeing a new long-term contract at the club.
